The Budgetary and Asset Management Service of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche is a key component for organizing the university’s budgetary and asset management, facilitating the development of appropriate processes, regulations, advice, and training in its areas. The Service’s main objective is to be a valid and effective tool for budget planning and management, as well as for the administration of the University’s assets.

It is divided into the following major areas of activity:

  • Budgets: Responsible for the management and administration of the Budget Cycle in its phases of Planning, Preparation, Management and Settlement of the Budget; providing information to the governing and representative bodies, the budget officers, and administrative staff who participate in the management.
  • Heritage and Inventory: It is responsible for the management of Heritage Files and Patronage, as well as the Inventory of the assets and rights that make up the University’s Heritage through the corresponding processes of registration, modifications and disposal of assets; it checks and periodically updates the list of all existing assets through the appropriate physical counts; it keeps all interested parties responsible for the Organic Units informed of the situation of the assets assigned to their unit; and it provides appropriate data for incorporation into the University Budget.
